Sing for Water 2018 takes place over the weekend of 15th/16th September, and Raise the Roof will be there!
Join 40 of the UK’s best choirs for Sing For Water 2018, an awe inspiring concert led by Katie Rose and Roxane Smith, filling The Scoop by City Hall with a plethora of water-themed tunes guaranteed to get everyone on their feet. The event was co-founded in 2002 by renowned composer, singer and musical director Helen Chadwick and the Thames Festival Trust, and is now in its sixteenth year.
Last year, we raised £24,000 for WaterAid efforts in Ethiopia and also reached our target of raising £1 million for the charity since Sing for Water began, so help us build on this success and sign your choir up this year!
Right now, millions of people across the world are living without access to clean water and sanitation. This crisis is costing lives and ruining chances of development. WaterAid’s vision is a world where everyone has access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene – basic human rights that most take for granted.
If you would like to join in, please register your place before Thursday 31 May. Due to a high drop out rate last year we are asking each singer to pay £5 to secure their place at the event.
